MIAMI, Fla. (Nov. 2009) - Once again Hip Hop Weekly gets the stories you want to hear from the people that made the news. The big story this week is Lil Wayne taking a plea in his New York City gun possession case. We sat down with Wayne’s lawyer, Stacy Richman, she explained to us why one of hip hop’s biggest stars agreed to serve up to a year on Riker’s Island. We also spoke exclusively with Baby to get his thoughts on Weezy’s situation and how Cash Money is going to maintain while their biggest act is doing time.
Our music section is full with interviews from today’s hottest acts. Juvenile chopped it up with us about his latest album, Rick Ross and Triple C’s told us how they are bringing their “Maybach Music” movement to the mainstream. We also have Nicky Minaj, Buckshot, KRS-One, Lil Scrappy and Kay Slay giving an exclusive behind the scenes look at how some of the hottest new music was made. We spoke to the stars of two of the best new movies. Faizon Love talked with us about his famous friends and how they made Couples Retreat for him and Salli Richardson told us what it was like making one of the edgiest comedies in a while, Black Dynamite.
